THE wedding dress

This morning my sister and and i went shopping for my wedding dress. I found two that i liked. I really liked this one but someone we know wore it last year and so my sister told me it's out of the question.

We're going again on Thursday and this coming Saturday. I have to say i didn't think i was going to have so much fun but I trully did. The ones i trully liked were the ones you had to tie in the back like a corset. Besides feeling like Marie Antonette i love it. I couldn't breath but i had a waist. I wish they would bring it back. I don't know how it would work out with scrubs but it was so nice to feel like i had a waist and acutally see it.

Moving on. Simona's wedding is coming up pretty soon. in 2 1/2months. I order the skirt smaller than the my usualy size and thanks to weight watchers it feels great. I lost 8lbs in the three weeks i've been w/ them. The big weigh in is on Monday to see if i can get to 10 lbs.

For Christmas, Christian got me these two lovely dresses from White House Black Market. One was kinda tight but now it fits perfect, ready for me to wear at the Phantom of the Opera...it's our one year of being engaged aniversary on April 18th.

I couldn't end this post with out him. I was so shocked when i heard it. I think more than all since i deal with death all the time. When i lived in Spain i had the biggest crush on him. When i was 18-19 and 10 things I hate about you came out i had the biggest crush on him and once in a while i find myslef singing at the top of my lungs: I love you baby, and if it's quiet alright i need you baby to warm a lonly night....

weight watchers

it's already January 18 th and we're mid way through the month. I went to San Diego on for a night to visit my friend Jackie from nursing school. She took a traveler position in SD and I've been wanting to see her but it never worked out because she worked, i worked and than the fires happened and we got too busy.

we had a great time. we went on a hike at Torry Pines Reserves. I love SD i don't know if it was just getting away from the OC and enjoying the relaxed life style and being in good company or maybe it's true that i fit in SD better than in the OC.

I almost ran late to work yesterday driving back home because i HAD to stop by Extraordinary Desserts. This place is amazing. I am not a big cake eater... well let me define that I'm not a big American cake eater. If you give me some dobos or some other Romanian sweets that's another story. Anyway this place is indeed extraordinary. So after working 6hrs i finally got to see Christian and we had our slice of cake and played some guitar hero. Yes me who said i will never play video games got hooked on it.

My mom and i went to the mall and found my brides maid dresses. They are from JC Penny and they are cute and i had my brides maid in mind when they came up to be only $35 per dress. Not a bad deal since they are only going to be wearing it once. The color will allow us to use sun flowers since it's a fall wedding.

No big plans for today and tomorrow: movie, gym, baby shower and Christian has a lot of homework and I have a honeymoon to plan. We are going to Mexico at some resort on the Riviera Maya.

Yes so i titled my post weight watchers because on the 13th i started that. i know I've been talking about cakes in this little post but I have been good and I have been keeping up with my points. On Sunday is the big date to see if i lost anything.
